Now that Barry has crime-fighting help from Jesse Quick and Vibe, if necessary, the writers are going to have to raise the ante for a passable villain in the Flash universe. Metahumans must be getting stronger if they expect us to believe that Barry would need powered help to stop them after two seasons of single-handedly doing everything in the field himself.
Mirror Master is coming to Central City in The Flash Season 3 Episode 4, but what should we expect? They say that breaking a mirror is seven years of bad luck, but can the luck for Team Flash get any worse than it has been in the past?
From the trailer, we see that Barry winds up getting stuck in a mirror, creating an ample opportunity for Jesse to begin her heroic journey, on her own, and try (and inevitably fail) to save the day.
She may be Central City’s only hope to stop this metahuman, assuming Cisco doesn’t use his powers.
Iris: Do these jeans make my butt look big?
This line is supposed to be for comedic relief, but is it necessary? That line has been used to dumb women down and make their self-worth all about their appearance for decades, and Iris West is not down with that. Find a new way to create comedy than dumbing down characters for the sake of it.
Is Mirror Master another metahuman sent from Alchemy from Flashpoint? Is Alchemy from Flashpoint, and somehow he managed to worm his way into this new timeline?
Speaking of Alchemy, what are his plans? Why is he so determined to destroy Barry, and who is he? Could he be, as many fans suspect, Julian, Barry’s new coworker that suddenly exists in this timeline and hates him for no reason?
There are many possibilities, but can we please just ask Alchemy to bring Black Canary/Black Siren back?
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW. Watch the trailer below!
