The Vampire Diaries Review: We’re Planning A June Wedding (Season 8 Episode 15)

We’ve reached the second to last episode of The Vampire Diaries and show wraps up all of its drama with an interesting twist we didn’t see coming following the penultimate Steroline wedding. It’s the beginning to an end.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 15 “We’re Planning a June Wedding,” is a decent episode as the show does its best in getting close to wrapping the series for good. I’m just about ready to bawl my eyes out because I cannot seem to grasp that the show is actually ending, after 8 wild and epic years of this vampire-drama inducing TV show. The Vampire Diaries is taking us on a wild ride now that Stefan is officially human, Damon gave away the Maxwell journal over to Cade to burn to ashes and our favorite psychopathic villain, Kai, is back like nothing every happened to him.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 12, “What Are You?” was a solid episode continuing on from the aftermath of Season 8 Episode 11. Everything is a mess now, and everything that’s happening from here on out is nothing but a surprise. Also, we’re 4 episodes away from the series finale and the nostalgia is kicking in.

The Vampire Diaries Review: You Made a Choice to Be Good (Season 8 Episode 11)

On this episode of The Vampire Diaries, Cade’s new assignment for both Damon and Stefan becomes a deadly task resulting in a demise of a beloved character.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 11, “You Made a Choice to Be Good,” was an episode that showed how brutal and ruthless Cade is. Cade makes the past villains on this show look like amateurs. Though, the ending was the worst part of it all. Crush my heart out, why don’t you?

The Vampire Diaries Review: Nostalgia’s a Bitch (Season 8 Episode 10)

On this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries we take a detour into Damon’s subconscious as he is in hist catatonic state as we see some pretty familiar faces and so much more.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 10, “Nostalgia’s a Bitch,” was by far the best episode of this final season and boy did it get me emotional. But seriously though, where was all of this beautiful writing and storytelling in Season 7? In the final ropes of the final season, the nostalgia is not only a bitch but it’s definitely feeling too bittersweet. The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 8, “We Have History Together” was the final of many episodes directed by the talented Ian Somerhalder. However, it’s got to be the season’s slowest episode but we do get a better idea of the dynamic between Damon and Stefan’s brotherly relationship.

The Vampire Diaries Review: The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You (Season 8 Episode 7)

On this week’s midseason finale of The Vampire Diaries, the holiday spirit of Christmas turns messy and Stefan takes a tour into his forgotten past with Cade resulting in another deal with the devil.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 7, “The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You,” could have been better being the midseason finale and all. I wanted more, expected more but it left me a little underwhelmed to say the least. Oh well.

On this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, an amber alert is issued for Alaric’s twins, Enzo pays the price in deceiving Sybil and Stefan Salvatore quite literally sells his soul to the devil which delays that Steroline June wedding. Oh, and Sybil’s still a bitch.
