With only three episodes until the killer reveal, there are still five characters in the running for the person under the sheet: Wes, Connor, Asher, Frank, and Nate. Though it could be someone else, the news program at the end of Season 3 Episode 5 read, “Unidentified male victim,” so we, at least, know it’s a man.
Raise your hand if you’re breathing a sigh of sweet relief now that Michaela and Laurel (though her status still remains hazy, given she almost died and is still at risk) have been revealed to be alive. How To Get Away With Murder Season 3 Episode 6 is going to knock those reliefs down as soon as possible.
The police are coming after Wes, and so is Connor. Can anyone blame him? Technically, Wes killed Sam, and the others helped cover up for him because they were present, but he delivered the fatal blow to the head. Wes also shot Annalise, so really, are the rest of them as guilty as Wes? No.
Having an episode so clearly focused around him as his freedom is threatened is a clear indication that he’s alive, though, because we all know how network television works by now. There’s too many episode left to focus solely on Wes in the present day and not reveal where he is as Annalise’s house burns to the ground. Plus, Laurel’s baby could be his, after all.
(However, that is unlikely. They haven’t slept together and there’s no way the doctors would be concerned with a pregnancy that is only two weeks along while trying to save Laurel’s life. So unless they hooked up over the summer, the baby is more than likely Frank’s.)
Meanwhile, Annalise continues to lose it, but Viola Davis does it so well that we just can’t stop watching.
How To Get Away With Murder continues Thursday at 10/9c on ABC. Watch the trailer below!
